Contract Negotiation

• This is the core of our business. We are intimately familiar with the NFL’s Collective Bargaining Agreement and the intricacies of writing contracts under this Agreement.
• We understand the salary cap, how it works and what each NFL team’s salary cap restrictions are.
• We have relationships with the front offices of the NFL teams.
• We know the scouts. While many players in the top tier will certainly be drafted, this isn’t true for everyone. Some players need an agent to help them find a team. This is where we come in. We know how to market players to the NFL teams.
• We are fully prepared for contract negotiations in an uncapped year which is very likely in 2010.

Endorsements, Personal Marketing & Public Relations

• We have relationships with many of the companies looking to hire NFL Players to endorse their products. This includes athletic apparel, shoes and many other organizations that look to align themselves with the NFL.
• We actively seek endorsement deals for our clients.
• We provide substantial personal marketing services for our clients including both traditional marketing methods and modern media.
• We are experienced public relations professionals.

   

Combine Preparation

• The NFL Combine is the venue at which most NFL prospects will work out for the scouts of the 32 NFL teams.
• We have existing relationships with multiple facilities that provide professional training for athletes preparing for the NFL Combine.
• We will arrange for the logistics of this training and for the combine itself.
• We’ll make sure you are prepared!

 

Financial Services

• FKSM does not offer these services directly, but we feel that it is vitally important to take care of these concerns for our clients, and we have partnered with several NFLPA certified financial advisors to make sure that our clients receive the best advice, obtain proper tax counsel and are planning for their financial futures.

Our Fees

• Contract Negotiation
• The maximum fee that the NFL allows for agents is a fee of 3% of the gross value of an NFL Player’s contract.
• Most agencies charge 3% plus expenses and high rates for marketing and endorsement services.
• We only charge the 3%. We do not charge you for our associated expenses.

  • Our endorsement fees are much lower than our competitors.
